The inspectors of the Krasnoyarsk “Stolby” reserve recorded 11 cases of tourists’ encounters with bears since early July, as the press service of the institution reported.

      “The greatest number of encounters of predators with tourists took place in Takmakovsky district of Stolby, where a she bear with her cubs sometimes comes out to people. Another places was Laletinskaya road, at the central entrance to the reserve: there were several encounters of tourists with the cub of the year living nearby”, the message says. There have not been any cases of bears attacking tourists, however, predators have become accustomed to the presence of people and do not react to the deterrent measures of inspectors.
