The All-Russian Museum of Handcrafts and Folk Artsis holding a permanent exhibition dedicated to the domestic arts and crafts of the 18th – early 19th centuries.
The exhibition “Decorative and Applied Art of Russia of the 18th – Early 19th Centuries” consists of the following subjects:
• “The Era of Change: the Turn of the 17th –18th Centuries”;
• “Classics of the Russian 18th Century”
• “Russian Empire Style”;
• “In the Rooms”.
The exhibition features a huge collection of truly priceless exhibits created by Russian and foreign glass blowers, ceramists, enamelers, bone carvers, etc. Among them there are tapestries and church items, as well as brass, bronze, crystal, porcelain and ceramic handcrafted works, palace furniture, decor and interior items, watches, figurines, trays, miniatures and many others.
