Vorobyovy Hills - the Most Popular Fan Zone of the World Cup 2018

The most popular fan zone of the World Cup 2018 was recognized the platform on Vorobyovy Hills: during football matches it was visited by more than 1.6 million fans, as the Head of the Department of Sport and Tourism of Moscow Nikolai Gulyaev told to reporters on Thursday.

      “As we know, foreigners preferred Nikolskaya Street, where they were spending time regularly; many of them, as well as Russians, used the fan zones created specifically for the World Cup 2018. The most popular fan zone of the World Cup 2018 was recognized the platform on the Vorobyovy Hills visited by more than 1.6 million during the matches of the championship. The attendance leader was the match Russia-Croatia: it was watched by 167,000 people”, as the Head of the Department said.
