The “Piligrim’s Trail” Route in Istra

It is planned to extend the “Piligrim’s Trail” in the city district of Istra to the “New Jerusalem” museum and exhibition complex until the end of this year.

      This year it is planned to finish the creation of the “Piligrim’s Trail” in Istra (...) Last year the first part of the route was laid:  it went from the railway station to the monastery, along the Volokolamskoe highway, and was only about 2.2 km long. This year, the trail will be extended to the exhibition complex.

The route will be equipped with lighting and video surveillance, a bicycle path will be created, and the people with limited mobility will be able to move along the “Pilgrim's Trail”. Trees and shrubs will be planted around the pedestrian zone.
