New Fines for Companies Hiring Foreigners to Work in Russia were Introduced

The President of the Russian Federation has introduced new fines for companies that invite foreigners to work.

      Companies will have to monitor foreign workers (Source: Federal Law No. 216-FZ as of July 19, 2018).

      It should be controlled that foreign employees do not violate the purpose of their stay and leave the country on time. The violation of the new order will cost a company a fine from 400 thousand to 500 thousand roubles, and for officials such fine will amount from 45 thousand to 50 thousand roubles.
