The employers are obliged to provide employees with one full day off work for medical examinations. At this, the employees will retain their jobs and average salaries.
Employees will be able to undergo a preventive medical examination in a more relaxed manner. To do this, they will be given a paid day off with the preserved average salary.
The draft amendments to the Labor Code have been adopted by the State Duma in the first reading.
To receive such a day off, an employee will need to write an application addressed to the head of the company. The employer will provide employees with an additional paid day for the medical examination once every three years.
