The Castro 10 (C10) vessel has started preparatory work on laying gas pipes within the framework of the “Nord Stream-2” project. This is reported by the “Nord Stream-2” company.
The vessel is working on a marine coastal area which will be connected to the onshore section of the pipeline. For this purpose, the vessel’s crew is welding the parts of the pipeline. Simultaneously, preparatory work continues in the Greifswald Gulf where five excavators create a 25-kilometer trench for the subsequent laying of pipes. The work in the gulf will be completed by the end of the year.
