The “Ivanovo Lakes” Nature Park will be created in the Republic of Khakassia to preserve the territory of the four picturesque lakes which are annually visited by more than 25,000 people, as the press centre of the regional government reported on Monday. “The specially protected territory – the “Ivanovo Lakes” Nature Park will be established in the village of Priiskovoe.

The village has long been a favorite holiday destination for Russian and foreign tourists, with more than 25 thousand visitors a year.
The attractions include 4 picturesque high-mountain lakes surrounded by alpine and subalpine meadows. Visiting the territory is uncontrolled and unsafe, the routes are not equipped, the environment is subject to high anthropogenic load”, as the message said. In addition, the village of Priiskovoe is also the centre of winter recreation: sportspeople and amateurs from all over the world come here for skiing and snowmobiling.
