From May 1, 2019, the Central Bank will receive the right to unimpeded access to the premises of companies and to their documents within the framework of inspections in compliance with the law on insider information.

Beginning from May 1, 2019, the staff of the Central Bank will have unimpeded access to the premises of companies, to their documents, computers and storage systems as a part of their insider inspections. The inspectors will be able to copy original documents and computer information themselves to avoid their purposeful distortion, concealment or destruction.
Now the Central Bank can only demand documents from companies. To inspect the territory, the staff of the Bank of Russia must present: a work pass; a resolution on inspection; tasks for inspection. Source: Federal Law No. 310-FZ of August 3, 2018
