International Military History Festival "Borodino Day 2018"

International Military History Festival

The Museum-Reserve "Borodino Field" will hold an annual historical reconstruction festival.

      In 2018 the Borodino Day Festival marks the 206th anniversary of the biggest and bloodiest battle of the Patriotic War of 1812 - the Battle of Borodino.

      On the eve of the festival, the Borodino Field will become the gathering venue for the infantry, artillerymen, lancers, hussars and grenadiers of the 1812 type.

      The most spectacular events will take place on September 2. On this day, the festival program will present solemn ceremonies and military historical reconstructions of several episodes of the Battle of Borodino.  Hundreds of members of Russian and foreign military historical organizations will take part in them.

      
Where: Museum-Reserve "Borodino Field" at the address Borodino Settlement, Mozhaisk District, Moscow Region.

      When: from August 30, 2018 to September 2, 2018. Time: from 11 am to 4 pm.

      Cost: from 1000 rubles.
