The United States and Saudi Arabia surpassed Russia in terms of oil production volume in June, according to the Joint Organizations Data Initiative (JODI).
Thus, for the first time since 2002, Russia has descended to the third line. According to the statistics, in June the US produced an average of 10.9 million barrels of oil per day, increasing the volume by 4.4 percent, Saudi Arabia produced 10.489 million barrels per day (plus 4.6 percent), and Russia - 10.487 million barrels per day (plus 1.4 percent). The volume of exports of American oil increased by 20 percent, as compared to May, up to 2.408 million barrels per day, the exports of Saudi Arabia grew by 3.7 percent, up to 7.244 million barrels.
