Grand-scale Festival of Historical Gardens has been opened in Tsaritsyno at the threshold of the Moscow City Day.
In the framework of the project, part of the famous estate museum has been turned into a large-scale open-air exhibition area that presents miniature parks of different eras - from medieval to postmodern. The variety of gardens created especially for the festival can be observed till September 9.
Here you will find the gardens of Old Russia and of the reign of Catherine II, as well as Italian gardens of the Renaissance, Baroque and beyond. Besides, there are splendid French and Dutch gardens with their incredibly beautiful flower beds, English parks with cozy green nooks, and what not.
In addition, visitors can take part in a rich cultural and entertainment program with theatrical performances, stage productions, concerts, master classes, handmade fairs, etc. All comers are welcomed free of cost.
