A New Pedestrian Zone Appeared in Moscow

A new pedestrian zone - a section of the 2nd Miusskaya Street from the 1st Miusskaya Street to Miusskiy Lane has been created in the centre of Moscow after a comprehensive improvement, according to the Deputy Mayor of Moscow on Housing and Communal Services Pyotr Biryukov.

      According to him, about 130 trees will be planted on Lesnaya Street and adjacent lanes in the autumn, and more than 130 shrubs will be planted next spring. The press service of the complex of city municipal services told to the journalists that a cable duct system with a total length of 9.9 km and a storm water sewerage system with a length of 700 meters have been laid on Lesnaya Street and adjacent lanes.
