The official website of the Eastern Economic Forum has published an extended version of the business program describing the meeting, key issues for discussion and key speakers.
The program offers about 70 business events, including panel meetings, business dialogues, business breakfasts and roundtable discussions. Traditionally, the main event of the Forum will be a plenary meeting with the participation of the Russian President Vladimir Putin.
The topic of this year’s meeting is “The Far East: Pushing the Boundaries of Opportunities”. The work within the framework of the business program of EEF-2018 will be conducted in four main spheres. Discussions are expected to touch upon the issues of investor rights protection, infrastructure support of business, creation of a special administrative region (offshore zone) on Russky Island, as well as the breakthrough of the regions of the Far Eastern Federal District in the national ranking of investment attractiveness.
