XXI Century Galleries in Moscow is holding a personal exhibition of Oleg Katorgin’s art works inspired by his experience in Antarctica.
The exhibition "Found in Antarctica" presents a collection of his paintings and graphic works, wooden sculptures and art objects.
The exhibits are the result of Oleg Katorgin’s year-long stay in the Antarctic. His art works recreate the picture of the long-disappeared civilizations of the Antarctic. The traces of those civilizations were discovered by researchers who had been exploring the mainland for several decades under the auspices of the Russian Antarctic Expedition.
The entrance tickets run from 100 rubles.
When: from August 9, 2018 to September 16, 2018.
Open hours: from 11 am to 8 pm on all days except Monday.
