QS Quacquarelli Symonds has published a new rating of the world’s universities as per the quality of graduates’ employment. Among Top 500 there are 11 Russian higher education institutions. The Moscow State University heads the list of the best Russian universities. Its position in the general rating is in the range of 101-110 places.
It is followed by the St. Petersburg State University (161-170 places), the Moscow State Institute of International Relations (201-250 places) and the Higher School of Economics (251-300).
Top 500 also includes the Bauman Moscow State University, Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology, Moscow Engineering Physics Institute and Moscow Institute of Steel and Alloys.
Among the best regional universities of Russia there is the Novosibirsk State Technical University. The Plekhanov Russian Economic University closes the list of 11 best Russian universities.
Earlier, the Times Higher Education (Britain) published the rating of the best universities in Eurasia. It listed 27 Russian universities, including the Perm State University and the Ural Federal University in Yekaterinburg.
