Varshavka Gallery in Moscow presents a photo exhibition about workaday and festive Moscow.
The exposition includes a series of photographs taken by famous Russian photo artist V. Korotkov with German film cameras of the 1930s.
All of these pictures are united with one common goal: to show two lives of the Russian capital city with all its pros and cons. On the one hand, it is everyday life with its mundanity and daily grind. In contrast to it, the photos show a festive, colorful and bright Moscow.
The exposition presents photos that amaze with their visual clarity and sharpness. Although the photographer used old film cameras, not a single work of his is inferior in quality to photos taken by the most modern digital cameras.
When: from September 1 to September 30, 2018.
Where: the Varshavka Studio Gallery at the address 75/1, Warsaw Highway, next to Varshavskaya metro station, Moscow.
