The heating and transportation company of the Siberian Generating Company in Krasnoyarsk has dismantled the 45-meter chimney and the emergency building of the municipal boiler-house No. 1 by the explosion method. The work was carried out with the involvement of a specialized organization authorized to work with explosives which had dismantled the chimney No. 1 at Krasnoyarskaya CHPP-1 in April.

      The event has become a part of the program of the Siberian Generating Company aimed at reducing the negative impact on the environment in the Krasnoyarsk Territory.

      The demolition of boiler house facilities was carried out by the method of industrial explosion. At the time of demolition all the personnel were withdrawn from the danger zone with a radius of 100 meters, and the access to the territory was closed.
