The export of Russian oil has increased by 34 percent in value terms in the first seven months of 2018, according to the Federal Customs Service (FCS).
During the period from January to July, Russia has exported oil costing 71.24 billion dollars. In July this indicator made up 10.8 billion, which is 4.4 percent more than a year ago. Oil exports have amounted to 147.3 million tons in physical terms for the first seven months, which is 1.3 percent less than in 2017.
According to the Federal Customs Service, fuel and energy products still constitute the basis of Russian exports. In the first seven months of the year, they accounted for 64.2 percent of the total exports volume.
