The “Kapusta Barynya”  Gastronomic Festival

 The “Kapusta Barynya” (translated as “Madam Cabbage”) gastronomic festival will be held on October 20 in Yalutorovsk (Tyumen Oblast).

      The festival will be held on the territory of the “Yalutorovskiy Ostrog” tourist complex. According to the source’s words, tourists will be treated to cabbage pies with and tea poured from a 150-liter samovar. In addition, the guests of the festival will be able to take part in various competitions. These include a competition in cabbage chopping and a contest for the best recipe of a dish with the use of this vegetable. In addition, the heaviest cabbage head will be chosen at the event.
