The Head of the Supervisory Board of the institute, business ombudsman Boris Titov estimated the business costs of the “digital economy” at 80 billion roubles: over the last two years the business spent this sum on installing online cash registers and the USAIS system, as well as on the implementation of the “Yarovaya Law”.
According to Titov, the current trend in the digitalization of the economy leads to a serious retardation of Russia.
