The level of quality of state business regulation in Russia fell in 2017, as RBC reports with a reference to the list of Governance Quality Indicators composed by the World Bank.

      This ranking estimates six key indicators: “rule of law”, “control over corruption”, “accountability”, “political stability and absence of violence”, “government efficiency” and “quality of regulation”.

      The “quality of regulation” also includes the ability to “develop and implement efficient regulation promoting the development of the private sector”.

      The estimate of the regulatory environment for business in Russia is in the negative area and amounts to -0.48; last year it made up -0.42.
