Exposition "Treasures and Antiquities of the Moscow Kremlin"

An outstanding historical and archeological exposition has been opened at the Annunciation Cathedral of the Moscow Kremlin.

      Here, the public is introduced to the priceless collection of unearthed treasures that used to belong to Russian sovereigns, boyars, rich merchants, churches, etc. in the Middle Ages.


      The exhibition displays about 1.5 thousand unique antiquities. According to experts, they are the best representation of the Kremlin treasury and the treasures hidden at the Kremlin territory in different years.


      Among the exhibits there are ancient monuments of jewelry art, lots of decorations for uniforms of high state officials, various samples of coins, as well as cold and firearms, soldier ammunition and many more.


      
When: from June 8, 2018 to June 14, 2020. Open hours: from 10 am to 5 pm.

      Where: the Annunciation Cathedral next to metro stations Borovitskaya, Alexander Garden, Lenin Library and the Revolution Square, Moscow.
