The Moscow Institute of Russian Realist Art presents an exhibition dedicated to the creative heritage of the famous Russian painter Georgy Nysskiy (1903-1987).
It is not by mere chance that the project is titled “Nysskiy. The Horizon”, since the artist’s trademark was an unusually low horizon. In this way, the master depicted vast spaces.
The exposition opened at the Institute of Russian Realistic Art is the largest personal exhibition of Georgy Nisskiy in recent years.
Among the exhibits, there are paintings and archival materials from the collections of several dozen museum institutions, archives, and private collections.
