The Zagorje Gallery in Moscow welcomes all to get acquainted with the photo chronicle of this country.
The exposition “Russia. The 20th Century in Photos. 1946-1964” contains numerous photo reports that give an idea of the most important political, economic and cultural events in the life of the Soviet Union of those years.
These photographs illustrate the time of post-war reconstruction and the return of people to a peaceful life.
The photographs feature festive events dedicated to the 800th anniversary of Moscow, the first Pobeda cars, the construction of the first Stalin skyscrapers, the funeral procession of Joseph Stalin, honoring Yuri Gagarin, etc.
Visitors will see works by the classics of Russian photography, as well as talented Soviet photojournalists who are not known to the general public.
