On November 15 and 16, Georgian ethnic music band Mgzavrebi will present a new album in Moscow.
In their native Georgia, Mgzavrebi has long been recognized as a national treasure, but the universal nature of the band’s creativity combining traditional Georgian music and rock-pop instrumentation enables them to conquer the public around the world.
Moscow is no exception. In November, the band will bring here the seventh record GEO, which turns over the new page in the musicians’ work. The new album has got less Georgian folklore and more electric guitar parts. However, the brand ethnic zest of Mgzavrebi is still there.
