The Skating Rink in Gorky Park will Open on November 22

The skating rink in Gorky Park will open on November 22. The opening ceremony will begin at 19:00 and will last until midnight. In honor of the start of the new winter season, a party with musicians will be held on the ice. A stage will be set up at the rink where Russian bands Tiger Balms and Cream Soda will play their sets.

      A neon conveyor belt will be placed on the arch of the main entrance of Gorky Park, a 10-meter factory pipe will be installed on the ice field, rental pavilions will be styled as workshops, and an installation of a thousand illuminated pipes will appear in the center of the rink.

      A glass media room with lighting and heating will be constructed there, where DJ sets, live concerts, lectures and other events will be held. The area of the rink will be approximately 18 thousand square meters. It will work until March 10, 2019 inclusive. The rink will accommodate about six thousand people.
