The first skating rinks with artificial ice have opened in Moscow. It is possible to skate  in the Hermitage garden, Sokolniki and Tagansky parks.

The first skating rinks opened for visitors in city parks. These are platforms with artificial ice. Ice skating is already possible in the Hermitage and Sokolniki gardens, as well as in the Tagansky Park. In the coming days,  skating rinks will open in the park of the Northern River Station and in the Izmailovo Park. Naturally-coated skating rinks will be ready with the advent of the climatic winter, when there will be a constant sub-zero temperature outside and a cushion of snow will form on the ground.

The ice rink in Sokolniki Park is already open. It covers an area of more than five thousand square meters on Fontannaya Square. There is a rental point there. Entrance fee required.

Another artificial ice rink opened in the Hermitage garden. It is located to the left of the main entrance to the garden. The area of the ice rink is about a thousand square meters. It has a rental point there, too. Entrance fee required.

Meanwhile, in Tagansky Park, before the official opening of the winter season, you can ride for free, but you need to come with your skates.

Another artificial ice rink with an area of about a thousand square meters will start working in the park of the Northern River Station. The entrance is free of charge. No rental is provided.

In Izmailovo Park, the area will be more than three thousand square meters.  There is a rental point there. Entrance fee required.
