The international “Circle of Light” festival in Moscow has been prolonged for another three years.
The “Circle of Light” festival has been held in Moscow for the eighth year in a row. From 21 to 25 September 2018, seven of its venues (Rowing Canal, Theatre Square, Museum of the Great Patriotic War on Poklonnaya Gora, “Kolomenskoye” Museum-Reserve, “Tsaritsyno” Museum-Reserve, “DigitalOctober” Centre, “Mir” Concert Hall) have been visited by about 4 million people.
Thanks to the unique “Carnival of Light” show, the VIII “Circle of Light” Moscow International Festival has been included in the Guinness Book of Records in the following categories: “The largest projection on the water surface” (3099 sq. m) And “The largest number of burners lit simultaneously” (162 pieces).
Further development of the “Circle of Light” festival implies the search of new venues, the use of newly emerging lighting and digital visual technologies, increasing interactivity and immersiveness, attraction of a larger number of volunteers, as the press service specified.
