Every concert of Boris Grebenshchikov and the Aquarium band is a kind of a magical ritual immensely relished by the audience.
One of the titans of Russian rock music, Boris Grebenshchikov, was the first Russian musician to adapt the entire aesthetics of contemporary Western musical culture to the language of Russian culture, and he goes on doing that. He shows that a Russian can sing not only Petersburg romance songs, but Jamaican reggae, American folk and Irish ballads as well. Boris Grebenshchikov is not just a cult singer, songwriter, and musician. He is also a translator, writer, artist, and a radio host.
Now Boris Grebenshchikov is going to celebrate his 65th anniversary with the new music program “The Doors of Grass” at Crocus City Hall on December 2. The concert starts at 7 pm.
