The State Tretyakov Gallery holds a chamber exhibition of paintings by a renowned Russian portrait, miniature and icon painter.
The project is dedicated to the 200th anniversary since the birth of artist Sergey Zaryanko (1818-1870).
The exhibition presents 9 canvases painted in different years of the artist’s creative career. Each exhibit is a true masterpiece of painting, which produces a strong impression on the viewer.
The series of paintings are complemented by the portrait of Sergey Zaryanko painted by his student A.M. Kolesov.
Thanks to the diversity of works displayed, visitors will get acquainted with various directions of the painting by the famous Russian artist of the last century.
