This exhibition is a vivid story of the creativity by Mikhail Chemiakin, who has celebrated his 75th birthday in 2018.
The Moscow Museum of Modern Art in Gogol Boulevard welcomes you to the exhibition “Mikhail Chemiakin. Metaphysical Workshop”. The exposition includes more than 250 paintings, drawings, and sculptures. They illustrate different periods of the master's work and tell about his searches and discoveries. Visitors will see the symbolic cycles "Sidewalks of Paris", "The Theater", "Cocoons" and "The Civil War", as well as the famous meta-busts, illustrations for future books "Mysteries of the Russian People" and "Russian Folk Dialects", theatrical sketches, a layout for an episodes from the "Hoffmanniada" animated film, and much more.
