Construction of the metro station in Vnukovo can be completed before the end of 2022.  The route of the new section of the Kalininsko-Solntsevskaya metro line to Vnukovo with the construction of two additional stations has been approved.

      One of the stations with the working title “Pykhtino” is planned to be located on Borovskoye Highway, and the second station - directly in Vnukovo. According to estimates, work on the construction of an additional section of the yellow line can be completed by 2023. This site is important not only for the air transport service of the airport, but also for the whole area.  Metro stations will be needed not only for airport passengers, but also for residents of the entire district.

      The length of the new section will be about 5.2 km. A new section is planned to be built from the technical dead ends of the Rasskazovka metro station, the Kalininsko-Solntsevskaya line.
