The Russian Finance Minister Anton Siluanov stated that the government would not increase the tax burden on businesses within the next six years, as TASS reports. Nevertheless, some changes are probable, the Minister described these as an “adjustment” of the tax system.

“We definitely will not increase the tax burden , but there will be a certain adjustment within the tax system. We consider that it is necessary to stimulate those decisions that require support through taxes. And I am sure that such stimulating decisions will be taken during the six-year period”, he told.

According to the Minister, the government will more strictly monitor the implementation of tax legislation by businesses for the purpose of creation of equal conditions for entrepreneurs.
