Over 70 Ice Shows at the Festival “Journey to Christmas” in Moscow

As part of the “Journey to Christmas” festival, over 70 colorful ice shows will be staged on skating rinks located in Red Square and Novopushkinsky Square. 


      
26 ice shows will be performed in Red Square and 46 shows in Novopushkinsky Square.

      
The last day of the outgoing year will see the premiere of the “The Frog Princess” ice fairy tale staged by Peter Chernyshev. Famous Olympic champions: Tatiana Navka, Elena Ilinykh, and Adeline Sotnikova are engaged in the performance. 

      
Christmas story The Nutcracker will be performed under the direction of Evgeny Plushenko in Red Square.

      
Visitors to the festival will have the opportunity to skate in the intervals between the performances. It will be possible to rent skates and learn ice dancing from professionals. Master classes and sports competitions will be organized for the audience. On top of all, all are welcomed to visit restaurants and buy festive goods and souvenirs.

      
      
When: from December 14, 2018, to January 13, 2019.

      
Open hours: from 11 am to 10 pm on weekdays and from 10 am to 10 pm on weekends.
