FIFA has Recognized Luzhniki as the Best Stadium in the World in Terms of Visibility of the Field from the Stands

 FIFA has recognized Luzhniki as the best stadium in the world in terms of visibility of the field from the stands, as the Chief Architect of Moscow, the Head of the author’s team of designers of reconstruction, told to the reporters on Wednesday.

      “Prior to the reconstruction, about 10% of the seats at the stadium were in a zone of poor visibility. That is why we replaced the stands: now they are arranged in two tiers at a steeper angle, besides, we added an additional tier of 100 sky boxes. Thanks to these changes, fans have a great visibility of the field at the stands from any point”, S. Kuznetsov told. He stressed the fact that the design solutions of the upgraded stadium have been checked by the World Cup at the highest level. Kuznetsov also recalled that FIFA regulates the width of rows, the width of regular seats, the number of television positions, the number of VIP seats taking up more space than regular ones.
