A new hotel and recreation center will be built in the resort "Arkhyz" in Karachay-Cherkessia.

      The construction of two new accommodation facilities in the special economic zone of the Arkhyz resort in Karachay-Cherkessia has been approved by the town planning council of the Republic.

      "At the meeting of the council, a project was approved for the construction of a hotel, which will be designed for almost 200 beds. The area of ​​the facility will be about 1.7 thousand hectares. A project for the construction of a recreation center, including three cottages, as well as recreation and consumer services, has been approved as well," the Interfax-South agency reports.

      The construction of both facilities is scheduled to begin in 2019.
