Every year the Garage Museum of Contemporary Art in Moscow holds the Art Experiment as part of its public program. Art Experiment 2019 is all about photography.
It is going to be a space, where the visitors explore the world through creativity and become creators themselves.
Every day, the Garage Museum will hold 2.5 hour long sessions.
During this time, you will be guided to:
- get inside the camera obscura at the installation “Platonic Obscurantism”;
- watch the animated film “World Wonder” and find out how the photo first cameras were designed;
- create a pinhole camera, where the role of a lens is played by a pinhole;
- try the old photo printing technique in the “Cyanotype Workshop”, and much more.
You can take your own art objects as a keepsake. The sessions start every 30 minutes.
