Pavel Ryzhenko is an Honored Artist of Russia, who gained fame with his paintings on the history of Russia.

Very few can depict the past of Russia with such a high level of accuracy, as he does. His paintings are dramatic and convincing. 

The International Fund for Slavic Literature and Culture has organized his personal exhibition of “From Popular Assembly to the Throne ...

The theme of the exhibition is the search for and adoption of Christian values by the Russian people.

You can learn about the history of the paintings and their characters from historian Tikhon Ryzhenko, the son of the great painter. He will conduct excursions in the form of lectures.

Where: International Fund for Slavic Literature and Culture at the address 9/13 bldg 2, Chernigovsky Lane, next to metro stations Tretyakovskaya and Novokuznetskaya, Moscow.

When: from August 28, 2018, to February 2, 2019.

Open hours:  from 12 am to 8 pm on all days except Monday.

Lectures by Tikhon Ryzhenko – from 1 pm to 4 pm on Wed-Sun.
