The Tsaritsyno Museum-Reserve has opened the exhibition “From Baroque to Minimalism” in its Bread House.
The project features hundreds of unique exhibits, including antique furniture and rare objects of decor and interior. They perfectly reflect all the most basic styles that for several centuries alternately "reigned" in the estates, palaces, apartments and country houses of Russia.
The exhibition gives a detailed illustration of the history of the Russian interior development over the past three centuries: from the Baroque, which dominated the royal and boyar chambers in the distant 17th century, before Peter the Great, and to the industrial construction of the Khrushchev era.
Where: the Tsaritsyno Museum-Reserve at the address 1, Dolskaya Street, next to metro stations Orekhovo and Tsaritsyno, Moscow.
When: from December 14, 2018, to April 13, 2019.
