Tula will Become the Library Capital of Russia

About 1.5 thousand people will take part in the All-Russian Library Congress, which will be held in May 2019 in Tula

      Thematic workshops and an excursion program will also be organized. The guests from the regions will get acquainted with the work of the regional and Tula city libraries, the Novomoskovsk city library, the Dubensky village library, and also libraries in schools, museums and enterprises. 

      As part of the Year of the Theater in the Tula Region, the whole year will be full of theatrical performances for children and adults, excursions, and large-scale international and All-Russian events. Among them are the traditional festivals "Bezhin Meadow", "Theater Yard" and "Tolstoy Weekend". 

      In September, the region will join the Russian Theater Marathon "Russian Theater - XXI Century". It will be held in the framework of the Russian-Finnish forum and will be devoted to the subject of folklore theater as the language of the cultural dialogue.
