The Bunker Museum of Contemporary Art is a unique place that used to be a bomb shelter. No less unique is the multimedia art performance of Pablo Picasso’s farcical play.
It is not widely known that the famous artist was also a playwright. The performance with the immersive exhibition elements is based on the play Desire Caught by the Tail authored by Pablo Picasso in 1941. His paintings literally come alive, accompanying and complementing the audio performance.
The play often called “surrealistic” or “just weird” is rarely staged, since not everyone will understand it.
Among the exhibits, you will also find paintings and sculptures by modern artists who are ahead of their time.
