The Astronautics Museum in Moscow holds an exhibition dedicated to the founder of space medicine, Oleg Gazenko (1918-2007).
The name of this famous Russian physiologist, a member of the National Academy of Sciences, is associated with lots of bright pages in the history of world cosmonautics: he was one of the founders of such disciplines as space biology and cosmonautics.
At the same time, Oleg Gazenko was not only a theorist, but also a practitioner: he took an active part in the preparations of the first animals, and then people, for space flights.
The exhibition organizers believe that the merits and scientific achievements of Oleg Gazenko can be listed infinitely long as his contribution to science and space exploration is invaluable.
The exhibition is designed to introduce a wide audience to the professional and creative activities of the merited scientist.
