The New Manege exhibition centre, Moscow, is displaying the unique collection of exhibits from the Bolshoi Theatre Museum.

      The Bolshoi Theatre first opened its doors to the public back in 1776. Only 142 years later — in 1918 — was the Museum established at its headquarters.

      The exhibition in the New Manege presents a part of the museum collection, based on archival materials of the Imperial Theater.

      The exhibition includes a large collection of truly priceless antiquities, including artworks, household items and interior design, decorations, stage costumes, accessories, and much more.
