Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs Introduced a Single Tariff for Russian Visa

For foreign citizens and stateless persons, starting from February 3, 2019, uniform tax rates on Russian visa will enter into force, the Consular Department of the Russian Foreign Ministry reported on Friday.

      On February 3 of this year, Order No. 24320 of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia dated December 17, 2018 “Approving the Unified Methodology for Calculating Fees for Reimbursement of Actual Expenses Related to Consular Actions” comes into force. Single rates for visa fees have been established: single-entry visa - $ 80, double-entry visa - $ 128, multiple entry visa - $ 240.

      It is noted that in case of urgent issuance of visa, a double rate is charged.

      Citizens of those states, with which the Russian Federation concluded international agreements  establishing visa charge rates (EU countries, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway, Switzerland, Japan, China) pay the fees specified in the agreement.
