Kalininsko-Solntsevskaya Metro Line will be Extended to Vnukovo Airport

The project of planning a linear object, which involves the extension of the Kalininsko-Solntsevskaya line of the Moscow metro from Rasskazovka station to Vnukovo station, was approved at a meeting of the Moscow City Planning and Land Commission.

      According to the press service of Moskomstroyinvest, we are talking about a section of 5.2 km in length, which will include two new stations, Pykhtino and Vnukovo. Vnukovo station will be located on the territory of parking lots at the airport of the same name. The draft plan will be submitted to a public hearing.

      Earlier, the head of the Moscow construction complex, Marat Khusnullin, reported that the construction of the metro station to Vnukovo could be completed by the end of 2022.
