The Jewish Museum and Tolerance Center, Moscow, welcomes all to an exhibition dedicated to the life stories of three girls under the Holocaust.
The exposition is based on the materials of their diaries written during their life in the ghetto and in the territories occupied by fascists.
The exhibition Anne Frank. Holocaust Diaries was created thanks to the remaining notes of A. Frank, M. Berg, E. Burr, E. Kaufmann, E. Heyman, and R. Lasker. Their diaries are filled with sufferings and emotions, but at the same time, they are the evidence of crimes and historical artifacts.
The exposition is complemented with sound installations created after the memoirs of girls who had to grow up at the time of the Holocaust. Artworks by painters, sculptors, and photographers dedicated to the anti-Semitism subject are also presented.
Where: Jewish Museum and Tolerance Center at the address11/1a, Obraztsova Street, next to metro stations Dostoevskaya, Maryina Roshcha, and Mendeleevskaya, Moscow.
When: from January 28, 2019, to April 1, 2019.
Open hours: from 12 am to 10 pm on Mon - Thu, Sun, from 10 am to 3 pm on Friday. Saturday is a day off.
