The Museum of Moscow is holding an exhibition that tells the informal history of Russia in pictures.
More than 350 photos divided into 7 sections are presented at the exhibition "Home Retro. 1962-2002. Moscow Saga by Mikhail Dashevsky". With them, you can trace the life of this country from the 1960s till the beginning of the 2000s, and see how old Moscow was giving way to the new. Photographer Mikhail Dashevsky has written small short stories to accompany his photos.
All of his works are spontaneous but not posed photos. The author is interested in psychological etudes, everyday life of the city, and ordinary people who can be met on the street. Children and elderly people are the most favorite characters of his works. Mikhail Dashevsky counts his manner of photo shooting as the documentary impressionism.
