Buddhist Art and Culture Festival Orientalia in Moscow

You can now deepen your knowledge of Buddhist culture through performances, lectures, meditations and other events at the large-scale festival Orientalia.

The festival kicked off with the premiere of the play “Five Lives” at the Moon Theater on January 18 and 19. This philosophical tale demonstrated the history of Buddhism in the language of imagery.

February 5, 2019, will see a free screening of the film “Buddhism in Russia: From Past to Present” at the Stanislavsky ElectroTheatre. It took 12 years to make this film.

On March 1, the Moscow Buddhist Center will offer its visitors a full immersion in Buddhist culture in various formats: from lectures and excursions to tea ceremonies and dances. The center is also holding an exhibition that can be seen throughout the festival.
