The renowned Soviet and Russian actor Sergey Yursky died after a serious illness on February 8, 2019. The People's Artist of Russia was 83 years old.
The mournful news was reported at the press service of the Mossovet Theatre.
At the end of December last year, Sergey Yursky was urgently hospitalized with inflammation.
The all-favourite actor gained enormous fame with numerous roles in films and stage productions. He is especially loved for his outstanding roles in the films “The Gold Calf”, “The ShKID Republic”, "The Meeting Place Cannot Be Changed", and "Love and Doves".
Sergei Yursky was an amazing master and wonderful partner on the set, the actor Alexander Mikhaylov, who played one of leads in “Love and Doves”, said.
“I was happy to work with this amazing actor. He was the embodiment of talent, plasticity, ease, and wit. He definitely transferred all of this into the film “Love and Doves”, - Alexander Mikhaylov emphasized.
